I want to share a very personal experience with you. It is a story about a tearful hot hatch that its origins in a world of real Chamois and had ended his life as a burned-out wreck. Lonely and sad, this poor car ended its mechanical life and dignity without a trace a long way from its beginnings the plush perfectly paved driveways and privet hedges.

In 2004 I had the utter displeasure of the degradation of the M25. My Space Wagon decided that the engine was not to work more and they promptly left on the tarmac of the hard shoulder. I was then forced to rent a car until I could find a replacement. I ended up leasing a Volkswagen Golf GTI and for my heavy automatic multi-purpose vehicle, she sent me to the automotive labor agitation. This was a totally unplanned situation. I was not meant to in falling love with the car, I was not meant to be a petrol head, I had no intention of burning rubber and do donuts, but something happened deep inside and I can only surmise that I have sort of "Clarksoned.

He had bought it for him, brand new as a gift for passing his test. It was a shiny trophy flanked to the success, with a band on an entrance wound from a perfectly cut privet. We drove along the coast, through the landscape along the main road and dusty slopes hurled lakes. We went with him, camping, picnic and even a fire resulting page party, as a stereo on wheels. The love I felt about this car was similar to the way Sam Witwicky Bumble Bee felt in the transformer movie.

Love alone was not enough to keep my car at my age, the rust spread, fell out of something and finally it was stolen by some little oik, and went into a ball of flame right on the A12. The OIK was unhurt, just for the record. Once again, I was sans car, and put the search for a car. Going to another leasing company, when I headed over to the Vee Dubs. My past experiences with love and loss, which I compared to a personal film to be honored in one way. I rented me a VW Beetle. Base with a large number of films to the ever-sympathetic Herbie and a huge success with animation hit for children Bumble Bee; only right, a classic for my next adventure.
